Accommodation & Transport

Horticulture Practice Training has sufficient accommodation available to be able to house all participants, principally in twin bedrooms. The accommodation is fully equipped, including bed linen and furnishings, such as cooking equipment, refrigerator and washing machine.

Each participant pays a fixed weekly amount for the accommodation, including gas, water and electricity. Each participant gets the use of a bicycle for travelling to and from work, for which they are personally responsible. The distance from the accommodation to the greenhouse market gardening company is always fairly short, being between two and six kilometres on average. The bicycle can also be used outside working hours.
